I had the usual Monday route with packages covering almost every part of Medina county. The Buzzards are gathering for that trip to where ever they go for the winter. One group of them were in a park playing soccer. I just wish I had recorded the game it was epic. Then there was a game of keep away. Two Buzzards seemed to be fighting over a dead squirrel when a smaller but more aggressive hawk showed up scattered the Buzzards and flew off with the prize. An all you can eat squirrel carcass. Yummy. While this was happening, there was a line of Buzzards waiting for the dead tree rat. I am sure the tree rat never felt so wanted or so picked at. I think right about now there is a Hawk with a Squirrel fur coat or rug for the nest. Very classy.
On the way home, I nearly hit one of those metal channel things from a cement truck in the 224-construction zone. The part that is blacked on both sides with nowhere to go. I hope someone can remove that before there is a nasty pileup. Every day the drive became a little more interesting.
I am posting part 2 of chapter 5 in the Joleen Warren Story here soon. I am working on the Book with No Name as well as a yet to be named story. I want to finish the smaller unnamed story before I post it because of the scattered nature of the story line.
Thank you for your time
And if you love the tree rats, sorry about what I wrote.
