This was a questioning humanity kind of day. I watched a man cross a marked close lane and charge down toward the construction crew, so he could get in front of three cars that had the nerve to do the speed limit in the left lane. This wasn’t the highway it was a regular street in Akron. There was so much angry driving today that I’m surprised that there wasn’t a news story about a twenty-car crash on 224. 76/224 in the construction zone is 55 and Norton has said they are going to use traffic cameras to enforce it. Then there are the people that order stuff and either doesn’t know their own address. Also, we were missing an entire pallet of ****** boxes (name deleted to hopefully save my job). Tomorrow is going to suck hard with teeth.
I was able to do a little work on chapter 11 in the Scarlet Knight. It’s shorter than the usual part, but I wanted to have something posted to justify the part of the day I took off (making a second trip just sounded nuts). I don’t know what’s going on tomorrow, so I don’t know if I’ll have anything tomorrow to post. Also, the character I introduced in this part isn’t the one I mentioned in another post (Cain is from the first book). She will be a part of the more that is to come……...
Thank you for your time.
