I am just sitting here thinking about going back to work on my book. Thinking but not doing. I found myself on the Sims 4 instead of my book or any of the stories. The book has a story I know well (I did type it). A young woman named Alice (real name Jennifer) take on a mission to kill drug dealers after her parents died in drug related incidents. The story tells a little part of her and her parents past to try and explain why or how she could go from high school to assassin. It covers some of the other people in her group, a few children they rescue from hell and her boyfriend with a painful past. The story ends in peace but picks up again three years later in the second book with a new set of challenges and an old enemy.
The first book was only about 25,000+ words and very thin (The book with No Name has nearly 40,000 words at chapter 7). Looking back at it I can see (or think I can see) how much my work has changed in this short time. I can’t say I am getting better, but it can’t be as bad as what I already did.
As for a road rant, I didn’t leave the house today and the road outside has had only about 10 to 15 cars as of this typing.
I guess I should stop dragging my feet and go back to the book.
Thank you for your time and for coming back (or just coming) to this site eve with me being inactive with new material.
