This was a nice dare I say pretty day. I would say beautiful, but it started cold, and I was working so nice works. Like I said, the day started out cold but that soon tempered out into a pleasant temperature with plenty of sun. The route was nice with only two stops with address issues (streets not recognized by system), and both were in the same subdivision. I had 45 packages for 42 stops across Medina County, including my new stops in Chippewa Lake. I have to say that a small community built around that lake is rather nice. It reminds me of the small communities built around the Chesapeake in Maryland. This was a hard week, and I’m (darn it) just so glad it’s over. I didn’t work the entire week because of the holiday, but I can see an entire month ahead with no reason for days away. I can remember days when I liked holidays, but now all I see is a day with no pay. I got home and cut the grass. This was a very nice day to cut the grass. It felt great, and that’s not a joke. This was a full day.
I didn’t get much done on the next chapter of the story (about 300+ words), but I did publish the last part of chapter 13 earlier. I will have the update on the PDF page after I publish this. I hope to keep going on this tomorrow and Sunday (I need to “fit” an air conditioner into a window, laundry, etc.) with no need to do anything else. It should rain on Sunday, giving me time to sit and type without guilt. Yay. This next chapter is going to cover Willie’s new gang and her dynamic with it as well as her plans for Alex. It will also cover the events around the new city of Harris Town. The town was never going to be a part of this story, and I’m (darn it) not sure if I will go back to it (despite just saying so earlier). Whether I go back to Harris Town or not the work will go one, and there will be more to come……
Thank you for your time.
