They say it should rain today, but should I believe them? I cut my grass a little too short on last Tuesday because they said it would downpour for the next three days then maybe a brief shower and nothing. The weeds are taking over the browning yard, and I just look foolish. I also used bags of my deliveries because of the rain that didn’t happen. It sounds petty, but I paid for those bags (company too cheap to supply good bags that fit the packages). I know boo ho boo ho angry old white man bemoaning his lot in life. One he made for himself, OK I’ll stop now.
I am getting part two of chapter two ready to post. Janice takes on a client that has a tie into Bill’s past. This case will add a layer to the story that while connecting to another case also has its own twist. It also ties into another short story I wrote and reworked last month called Defending the Bell Ringer, but it is just a thin connection one that doesn’t mean you have to go and read that story to understand the plot. As of right now if I had to subtitle Book one, it could be The Story of Bill and Janice with each chapter having something to do with each other’s past. If I get to book two, then it will cover JG and Sean’s connections with Janice. I will, however, keep hinting at how they are connected in the first book. More to come….
Thank you for your time.
