This is just a quick update. I saw some guy in a pickup truck cross the solid double line passing three cars going uphill with no visibility for cars coming from the other direction because the other cars were going 50 in a 55. About three minutes after he passed these turtles another car came going the other way. I thought about this as well as this little Fiat (the actual car not the acronym) cut off a semi not realizing if something were to go wrong that semi would plow through that little car like it was made from foil. I thought about this as I watched a YouTube video that seemed to blame trucks for the accidents and not the nut-jobs playing out their Need for Speed or Fast and Furious dreams in their commute to and from work.
This was a very nice delivery day. I like days like today with a route that helped me deliver over 43 packages to 43 stops. I finished after 12, but I had to stop at a store and do a few other things making it difficult to get home before 2 pm. I was so early at one stop that they almost didn’t accept the box. The next time I must deliver to them I’ll make sure to remember that their desk doesn’t open until 8 am so don’t stop there until then. It’s the difference between getting your own package and receiving a package for someone else. I don’t remember anyone being unhappy in getting their own package early. This is a good start to a week.
I have very little done in the story so far, but as soon as I can, I will get back to it and have something to post by 7 pm. I plan to just keep working on Janice James until I can unblock my block on The Book with No Name vol 2. This chapter is turning out to be a sort of character buildup to a one-time side character that was almost not in the story at all. Book two will be a mix of flashback to the incident mentioned in the story (JG was kidnapped at the age of eleven) and a present-day story, something like the movie the Godfather Part two. Well, more to come…...
Thank you for your time.
