Quick Update. I will have the final part done on Friday, but nothing today. I don't want to rush and have to fix this later like with a couple earlier chapters.
Bambi jumped around in the grass near the long flat black dry riverbed. He watched as the big shiny things went by with what looked like the two-legged animals his mother called No. Whenever Bambi said he wanted to play with the two legs, she said “NO.” Bambi wondered if the big shiny things ate the No then spit them out. He watched as the No seemed to like to be inside the big shiny, so Bambi wanted to ride inside the big shiny. He stepped out into the flat black dry riverbed and was hit by a truck. The last thing to go through his mind was the bumper.
There is a lot of young deer in Medina, and it was inevitable that one or more would meet their end on the road. One of them met what must have been a very large truck going about 50 mph (the speed limit of the big black dry riverbed). What really surprised me was all the raccoon deaths that happened last night. I was on several roads with many dead raccoons on it that weren’t there yesterday. It was just strange.
I had a very long day yesterday and a longish one today. Today was just one trip, but then there were many problems with addresses and traffic. Because of this, I don’t have much for the final part of this chapter. I plan to keep working until it’s time to fix dinner then go back to it and keep going until 6 pm. At that time, I will decide on either posting what I have or waiting for Friday. I still hope to finish this story this weekend but from what I have been told we will be short six drivers on Friday making it inevitable that I will be doing two routes (unless the trend is broken, and I have less in my route). Well, I better get back to it so there will be more to come…….
Unless your Bambi because all that’s left for him is a quick cleanup and a burial at the dump.
Thank you for your time.
